Work with me on your mobile product.
What I build for founders and companies, how a project runs from the first call to the release, and the questions people usually ask first.
01Work with me
What I can build for you.
For founders and businesses with a product to launch, and for companies that need senior mobile engineering or a lead for their team.
Launch a new app
From an idea to an app in the App Store and on Google Play: the scope, the flows, one Flutter codebase for iOS and Android, and the release.
- Flutter · iOS · Android
- Scope and milestones
- Store release
Build the whole product
The mobile apps, the backend and the admin dashboard designed as one system, so the product can grow without being rebuilt.
- Apps + backend + dashboard
- Real-time features
- Multi-tenant SaaS
Fix or scale an existing app
Slow screens, crashes, a codebase that's hard to change: a review of the architecture first, then a clear plan and the work to make it stable and fast.
- Architecture review
- Performance
- Refactoring with tests
Lead your mobile team
For companies building at scale: technical direction, code review and mentoring, as the mobile lead or as a senior engineer inside your team.
- Technical direction
- Code review
- Mentoring
Have an idea or an app to fix?
Tell me about it in a few lines. I'll reply with the questions that matter.
02How I engineer
From idea to real impact, one deliberate system.
A structured lifecycle for mobile products that stay maintainable as features, users and teams grow. Open a stage for the detail.
Users, goals, constraints
- User flows & edge cases
- Platform and integration constraints
- What success looks like
Stage 01 / 06
Understand
Start from the people using the product and the business behind it. Map the critical flows, edge cases and integrations before any code is written.
Boundaries that scale
- Clean Architecture & SOLID
- Feature modules
- BLoC / Cubit state, DI with GetIt
- REST & GraphQL contracts
Stage 02 / 06
Architect
Define layers, module boundaries and data contracts so the codebase can grow and several engineers can ship in parallel without stepping on each other.
Small, reviewable increments
- Code review on every change
- Reusable UI components
- Localisation & RTL from day one
Stage 03 / 06
Build
Ship in small increments with shared conventions and reviews on every change. Localisation, accessibility and real-time behaviour are designed in, not bolted on.
Confidence to change
- Unit tests for business logic
- Widget tests for UI states
- Integration tests for key journeys
Stage 04 / 06
Test
Unit, widget and integration tests cover the logic and flows that matter, so the team can refactor and release without fear.
Automated, repeatable releases
- GitHub Actions & Jenkins
- Fastlane for store delivery
- Shorebird for OTA updates
Stage 05 / 06
Deploy
CI/CD pipelines take changes from pull request to the App Store and Google Play, with over-the-air patches when a fix can't wait for review.
Measure, then improve
- Firebase Analytics
- Performance profiling
- Continuous improvement after launch
Stage 06 / 06
Optimize
Use analytics and profiling to find what slows users down: startup, jank, memory, network. Fix those first and keep watching after release.
What every stage is held to
Maintainable
Code the next engineer can understand and change safely.
Scalable
Architecture that absorbs new features and new team members.
Performant
Smooth on mid-range devices, not just flagships.
Reliable
Real-time and critical flows that hold up in production.
Collaborative
Close work with backend, design, QA and product.
03Questions
Before we talk, the usual questions.
What kind of projects do you take on?
Mobile apps for iOS and Android built with Flutter: a first version of a new product, a full platform with its backend and dashboard, or an existing app that needs to become faster and easier to change. Companies also bring me in to lead or strengthen their mobile team.
How long does it take to build an app?
It depends on the scope. After a first call I write down what will be built, in which order and roughly when, so the timeline is clear before any work starts.
How is the price worked out?
From the scope: either a price for a defined piece of work, or a monthly arrangement for ongoing development. Either way you get it in writing before we begin.
Can you take over an app someone else built?
Yes. I start by reviewing the code and the architecture, then tell you plainly what is worth keeping, what needs fixing first and what it will take.
Do you work with clients outside Egypt?
Yes. I work remotely from Cairo and have shipped apps for companies in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Europe.
What's the fastest way to start?
Send me a message on WhatsApp or through the form below with a few lines about the idea. I'll reply with the questions that matter and a time to talk.
Hiring for a full-time role?
